The reject rate of AJA is as high as 75%. The reasons for rejections are multiple, and the major ones are grouped into two kinds of causes: Interior causes (ethical or scientific) (70%-80%) and Exterior causes (20%-30%).

Interior causes include: Duplicate publication (publish in different language, above 70% major results are same; Duplicate submission; Plagiarism (scientific contents or writings); Does not or tolerably fit the scope of the journal; Lack of novelty and broad significance (only say yes, etc); Too simple or superficial to be published as an article; Weak logical reasoning or discussion; Little strong evidence for the conclusions that are drawn; Poor or defective experiments or methods (no control or insufficient sample); Wrong or no data statistics analysis; The absence of important materials, experiments or data.

Exterior causes include: Poor language; does not meet the format requirements of AJA; Poor presentation; Incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated references; Dose not satisfy or convince the referees.

To manage to avoid or eliminate all characteristics of rejected articles before submission, will increase the possibility that your article will be accepted.
