abstract = {Why publish a new journal? There are more than 10,000 Chinese urologists and andrologists, but there are only a handful of English language journals dedicated to the field that are published in China. China has become the world's second largest economy, and tremendous advances in science and technology have been achieved. In the medical field, a huge investment from the government and private sector has produced a new generation of clinical and basic research scientists full of energy, motivation, creativity, and imagination. Many of their manuscripts are rejected by mainstream medical journals because of differences in social and cultural backgrounds, philosophies, or misunderstandings of the authors' work.},
