ED 08. Application of tadalafil for men with erectile dysfunction who reported no successful intercourse attempts at baseline

Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of tadalafil in treating men with erectile dysfunction (ED) who reported no successful intercourse attempts at baseline.

Methods: Totally 21 ED patients who were treated with tadalafil in our center from January 2010 to April 2011 were enrolled in this study.

Results: After 4 weeks of tadalafil treatment,the IIEF-5 scores of these patients were remarkably improved (P<0.05). The cured rate reached 90.5%, and no remarked side effects were observed.

Conclusions: Tadalafil is safe and effective for treating men with ED who reported no successful intercourse attempts at baseline.
